The IAWP-9.6 is the ideal alternative to other traditional, low-height 'lift' solutions such as ladders, scaffolding or non self-propelled/push around work platforms, which increase risk of accidents and injuries. Safety considerations were of utmost importance in designing the IAWP-9.6. The machine offers safety features usually only found on larger machines, including slope alarm with automatic interruption of all functions except descent; audible alarm for movement, ascent and descent; anti-tilt system-built-in pot hole protection; an overload control with auto lock-out lifting interruption; and a flashing beacon.

With the smallest footprint in the industry at 26 in. wide and 47 in. long, and a zero inside turning radius, the IAWP-9.6 can easily maneuver in confined spaces, from small elevators, to narrow hallways, closets, aisle ways, mezzanines and congested office spaces. At only 1,220 lb (60-360 lbs. lighter than competitive models), the lightweight IAWP-9.6 has the lowest rolling tire floor load and unit weight in the industry and is the ideal all-around machine, particularly for projects where reduced space and limited floor capacities make the use of other types of self-propelled aerial work platforms impossible.

While compact and lightweight, the machine is still a workhorse, able to climb grades to 35% and power through crush stone and gravel surfaces. Unlike many similar machines on the market, the IAWP-9.6's unique design allows an unheard of unrestricted platform capacity of 397 lbs. with or without both decks extended. Powered by 2 TROJAN^® 12-volt high amp batteries, the IAWP-9.6 can travel 5.5 miles and produce a duty cycle of over 250 lift cycles on one charge, significantly increasing productivity.

The IAWP-9.6 features an innovative drive system, which allows for more controlled operation, mobility and steering. A special wheel assist kit increases ground clearance by 3 in., making it easier to load/unload the machine or manually maneuver the machine around obstacles that may be encountered on the work site.
